Capture waste heat energy from your refrigeration system to provide hot water while allowing your compressor to run more efficiently.
In addition to helping keep the condensing pressures in the refrigeration system lower and more stable, the Therma-Stor can capture up to 70% of the waste heat generated by your cooling system to produce “free” hot water up to 140°F. This water can be used for washing or used to supply pre-heated water to a conventional water heater, saving you money.
For smaller dairies, depending on the volume of hot water needed to clean the milking system, the Therma-Stor III-120 offers the energy savings of the Therma-Stor, with an additional 6000-watt electric heating element to boost the hot water temperature to 170°F to 180°F, for all your hot water requirements.
